The Core Roster Size Difference
  • Launch Numbers: FH6 starts with around 550 cars, whereas FH5 grew to over 800 by the end of its life cycle.
  • Missing Vehicles: Fans tracking the roster on the Official Forza Forums noticed over 340–370 vehicles from FH5 are missing at FH6’s launch.
Missing Brands in FH6
Bugatti isn’t alone. Corporate shakeups and expired contracts left several major brands out of Tokyo at launch:
  • Bugatti: Zero models, thanks to restructured licensing.
  • Hoonigan: Completely absent.
  • Infiniti: Not included, despite Japan being the main setting.
  • Alpine & Vauxhall: Other notable European marques missing from day one.
Key Car Additions in FH6
To balance out the missing hypercars and classic favorites, Playground Games leaned heavily into modern JDM cars and some high-end global performance machines:
  • 2023 Toyota GR Corolla: Fresh entry for the base roster.
  • Honda Civic Type R FD2: A highly requested debut.
  • 1998 Nissan Skyline OTECH: Rare, special-edition sedan.
  • Koenigsegg Gemera: Extreme multi-passenger hypercar performance.
  • Pre-order Exclusive Ferrari J50: Pre-tuned for early buyers.
What This Means for Future Updates
Historically, missing cars in FH launches aren’t gone forever. Like how Alfa Romeo and Lancia were delayed at FH5 launch due to the Stellantis merger, Bugatti and Rimac vehicles in FH6 will likely return later. Fans can expect them as free post-launch content or as rewards in live-service events once licensing is finalized.
For now, FH6 players have an incredible opportunity to explore a massive Tokyo map with a fresh, JDM-forward roster, even if the hypercar gods are temporarily absent.
