If you've been half-paying attention to Diamond Dynasty this week, now's the time to lock in. The April 10 content window is almost done, and a lot of players are about to realise they left value on the table. Between chasing rewards and stacking MLB The Show 26 stubs for the next drop, these last couple of days matter more than people think. It's not really about grinding everything. It's about picking the right stuff before the reset wipes the slate clean and the market shifts again.

The first thing to sort out is Weekend Classic, because that deadline is the easiest one to regret. Once it ends on April 14, those reward cards won't feel so easy to grab anymore. Victor Martinez and Bernie Williams are solid examples. Right now, some players are panic-selling or rushing to finish wins at the last minute. That usually creates an opening. If you can earn the cards, great. If you already have them, don't rush the sale unless you need stubs immediately. In a lot of past events, prices don't really jump until the rewards are gone and supply dries up. That's when the patient players usually win.

The second job is finishing the 2nd Inning XP Path before it disappears. If you're close, don't waste time in random modes. Stack missions, double up objectives, and try to get progress in one run instead of three. Then comes the big choice: Randy Johnson or Babe Ruth. There isn't some universal answer here, no matter how hard people argue online. Randy gives you a frontline arm, and that matters if your rotation still feels shaky in ranked games. Babe is different. He changes the middle of your order the second you add him. If you hit well already, Babe makes more sense. If you're tired of giving up early runs, Randy probably does more for you right now.

From April 13 through April 15, the market should calm down a bit after Spotlight Drop 2. That's usually the best time to clean out the binder. Sell the cards you're not using, especially the ones with hype but no real place on your roster. A lot of players hold too much junk because they think every card might spike later. Most won't. What you really want is flexibility. When the next update lands, the players sitting on liquid stubs can buy early, react faster, and avoid overpaying once the crowd piles in.

If you handle these final hours well, the next phase of MLB The Show 26 gets a lot easier. Finish the rewards that are actually worth your time, skip the busywork, and don't get sentimental about cards collecting dust. This is one of those moments where planning ahead beats nonstop grinding. Plenty of players also keep an eye on market tools and item deals through U4GM while getting ready for a new content wave, because having more options when prices move can make the whole transition feel a lot less chaotic.
